ioReign beta terms
ioReign is in a paid design-partner beta. These beta terms add to the terms of service. Where they conflict, these win.
We want you to know exactly what you are getting, including what is not ready yet.
1. What you get
- Agent-native Git hosting: clone, fetch, push, partial clone and sparse checkout.
- Import from any Git URL, and full export at any time, except while your kill switch is on or your account is suspended.
- An API, MCP server and command-line tool for your agents, with error messages that say how to fix the problem.
- Scoped agent identities and a full audit log.
- The merge queue and policy engine: policy files, exceptions, kill switches and revert.
- A minimal owner console: your organisation, agent identities, keys and tokens, usage, billing and your kill switch.
2. What is not ready yet
These are not part of the beta. We are building them while you use ioReign:
- CI. Keep your current CI until ours arrives.
- A secrets manager.
- Deploy pipelines.
- Company single sign-on. Owners sign in with passkeys only, so each owner needs a device that supports passkeys. If your only owner loses every passkey, recovery takes at least 48 hours. We call you back on the number you gave us and tell every owner and your billing contact first. The 48 hours start only after that. To avoid the wait, enrol a second owner or a second passkey.
- Self-serve sign-up. We set up each design partner ourselves.
- One-click migration from another code host. Import from a Git URL is included in the beta.
We plan to add these, but we don't promise dates.
3. Honest limits on assurance
- No external penetration test yet. An independent pen test happens before full launch. An internal security review is done before the beta opens.
- No full load test yet. Before the beta opens, we test at small scale only. Full-scale load testing happens before full launch.
- No service level agreement (SLA). We don't promise uptime or response times. We work hard to keep ioReign running, but outages and bugs can happen.
- No third-party security certifications yet.
Because of this, keep your own copy of anything important. Export makes that easy.
4. Price
- Starter: US$79 a month, plus Australian GST if it applies (we don't add other countries' taxes). Monthly. Cancel any time.
- CI is included at the same price when it arrives. Starter then includes 5,000 CI vCPU-minutes a month. Your price does not go up because CI arrives.
5. Limits
Your plan has hard caps. When you reach one, the extra request is refused with a clear error and a fix hint. We never bill you for going over.
- 20 concurrent agents. A concurrent agent is a distinct agent identity that holds a live access token. A slot is freed when the agent releases its token, when its last token expires (within 15 minutes), or when you revoke it. One identity counts once, however many processes or machines use it. People using the console don't count.
- 100 GB of storage (100 × 10^9 bytes). Your repositories and the exports you keep for download count. Caches we build to speed things up don't.
- Repository and push limits published in our docs. Your agents can read each limit, and how much they have used, from the API.
We give you at least 14 days' notice before we change how a limit is defined or lower one.
6. Support
- Best-effort support by email at support@ioreign.ai, during Sydney business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays).
- No guaranteed response time.
- Security issues: security@ioreign.ai, at any time.
7. Changes to the API
We announce breaking API changes at least 14 days ahead. We may move faster only to fix a security problem or to comply with the law, and we tell you as soon as we can.
8. Payment, grace, export and deletion
- If a payment fails, you get 7 days' grace. Then your account becomes read-only. Export still works.
- If payment still isn't made. If Stripe's retries all fail, or your subscription ends because a payment failed or was reversed (for example, a chargeback), your account stays read-only for 60 days. We email your owners and your billing contact when the 60 days start, and again on day 53.
- This also applies if your subscription ends while a payment is overdue, including if you cancel then.
- Paying, or subscribing again through our checkout, within the 60 days restores full access.
- The 60 days don't start when the 7-day grace ends. They start only when Stripe's retries have failed or the subscription has ended.
- Cancelling during the 60 days doesn't shorten them. To have your content deleted sooner, see section 9 of the terms of service.
- After the 60 days, the cancellation process below applies: 30 more days to export, then deletion.
- You can export at any time, including while read-only and after you cancel, except while your kill switch is on or your account is suspended.
- When you cancel, you have 30 days to export. We delete your account and content not earlier than 30 days after cancellation, unless a legal or dispute hold applies, and record that the deletion happened.
9. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the Asia-Pacific region where possible, on Cloudflare. Cloudflare does not guarantee a location in Australia, so we don't claim Australian hosting.
10. What we ask of design partners
- A short feedback call every two weeks. Tell us what works, what doesn't and what you need next.
- Feedback you give us is free for us to use to improve ioReign. It doesn't give us any rights in your content.
11. Publicity
We will name you as a design partner only with your written permission. You can withdraw that permission any time for future use.
12. End of the beta
When the beta ends, we tell you at least 30 days ahead what changes, including any price for plans after the beta. If you don't want to continue, you can cancel and export as usual.
